Camps
Huffman Horse Center, Inc. provides year around day and week camps for children ages 7 to17. Our instructors are nationally certified by the Certified Horsemanship Association. Campers learn safety, responsibility, and respect around horses. Each camper is responsible for the care of a horse each day. We provide horse discipline demonstrations, riding lessons, games, videos, and lessons about horse management. The week long camps culminate with a horse show for the camper's friends and families to observe what they have learned. Each camper will participate in haltering, leading, grooming, saddling, handling, riding, classroom lessons, unsaddling, and putting the horse away.
Students learn ALL aspects of horse care, not just riding.
Crafts, games, and feeding are also part of the day! Campers must bring a lunch, boots and warm clothing.
Must be pre-registered to attend.
